Why CLB 7

The French level that opens doors.

CLB 7 in French is the threshold for several of Canada's routes to permanent residence for French speakers.

Federal

The Francophone category of Express Entry.

Provincial

Francophone streams of the Provincial Nominee Programs (PNP).

Québec

The PEQ and PSTQ programs.

The real obstacle

It usually isn't your French.

Most candidates lose marks in Writing and Speaking for one of two reasons, and neither one is grammar.

No ideas

You understand the question, but nothing to say comes to mind.

No time

You have ideas, but organising them on the spot under time pressure falls apart.

The method

One smart skeleton, not dozens of memorised texts.

You learn a single structure built from B2 to C1 vocabulary, connectors and phrases. It adapts to any question you're given, so you stop depending on having the right idea at the right moment.

  1. 1

    You read the question

Pull two or three keywords straight from the prompt.

  2. 2

    You slot them in

The structure already has the phrasing, connectors and framing of a strong C1 answer.

  3. 3

    You deliver a B2+ answer

Introduction, body and conclusion, even if the topic is new to you.

Sample

The highlighted words come from the question; the red phrases are where they slot in. Everything else is the structure, and it is the same in both answers. Hover or tap a keyword to see where it lands, or switch to Structure only to see everything that stays the same.

Question

Aujourd'hui, chaque enfant et adolescent devrait avoir son propre téléphone portable. Êtes-vous d'accord ?

Introduction

You're reading the introduction and the first body paragraph. The remaining paragraphs and the full conclusion are in the guide.
